Account verification - Restoring an old account

I tried to access my account after years, but the verification email that I received was empty! Worry not, here's what to do.

First of all, it is simply great to hear that you wish to get back to Digital Theatre again!

To elaborate on why this procedure is even required, Digital Theatre was acquired in 2016 and this led to a major redesign of our service. As a result of these changes, we don't anymore offer an app or downloads, but the service is subscription and rental based as you may have already noticed.

Some of our customers had purchased productions under the old model to download to their computers. These have obviously not disappeared due to the change, but are instead available for our long-time, or "legacy", users as long-term rentals, all without an additional payment of course.

We did send out emails to all our users at that time to inform them of the changes, but we do appreciate that you may have missed this email at the time.

 

Please follow the steps below to access the content in your old account:

- Enter https://www.digitaltheatre.com/consumer and click "JOIN" at the top of the page

- Then click on the “Subscribe for £9.99 a month” option and fill in your details (name, email, password, and address details in full) 

! IMPORTANT - enter the email you used for your old account - this is the only way to connect to your old account ! (the email is case sensitive, so use lowercase letters only)

- After clicking "Next", a page will appear asking you to put in your card details. Skip this part by clicking on "Account" at the top of your screen

 

The account you just created is now linked to your old account, and if you made any purchases on your old account, you should be able to see them on the Purchase History tab of your account. Sometimes people have changed emails for whatever reason, and once you have logged in you can edit the account details should you need to update them.
