What to do if your off-campus EZproxy users aren't recognised as originating from the IP address of the proxy
Troubleshooting steps
- Go to https://edu.digitaltheatreplus.com
- Check the bottom right of the page and look at the IP address reported next to Your IP address:
- This IP address must match or be within the range of IP addresses associated with your organisation
Sometimes, customers have reported that EZproxy is not hiding the IP address of the remote user, which means the user requests are not recognised as originating from the proxy.
What to do if the IP address does not match that of your proxy
Try adding the following directive to the top of the EZproxy stanza
Option NoX-Forwarded-For
