Digital Theatre+ Accessibility Roadmap

Digital Theatre+ publishes an accessibility roadmap: a dated, versioned plan describing how we are remediating the platform and its content toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

The roadmap covers:

• our current conformance position, referencing the Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT 2.5, May 2026)

• known gaps, mapped to WCAG success criteria and the users they affect

• the two remediation workstreams: platform fixes shipped through our release cycle, and a programme of audio description, transcript and PDF remediation starting in October 2026, targeting all written materials by August 2028 and all video by August 2031

• how to request an accessible alternative for a specific resource today, with an assessment response within five working days

• how the roadmap is governed: it is reviewed and republished at least every six months, and sooner when milestone status changes

The roadmap is written to support institutional accessibility reviews, including equally effective alternate access planning; we can supply resource-level detail for a specific course list on request.
